Lispod (Podcast studio)
The LisPod studio aims to provide valuable insights on a range of topics, including UFS academic research outputs, current affairs, information literacy, book recommendations, and author interviews. The LisPod is located on level 5, Sasol Library.
Postgraduate Research Unit
The Postgraduate Research Unit which is located on level 6 creates an environment conducive to studying and research for postgraduate students.
Study space
The library has dedicated study spaces across multiple levels as well as a 24 hour study space on the 3rd level
Makerspace
A makerspace is a collaborative and creative workspace that provides visitors with tools, resources, and a supportive community to engage in making, learning and innovation. The makerspace is located on level 3 in the Sasol Library.
Digital scholarship
The goal of the Digital Scholarship Centre, located on level 8, is to expand the capacity of the University research community to create and share new kinds of scholarship.
