Intembeko Hub: helping you manage your ORCID

Getting ready to submit a funding proposal? Updating your CV for NRF rating? Publishing in journals requiring a unique identifier? Applying for a promotion? Increasing your visibility among your peers globally?

Then you will need to update your ORCiD iD, which can be a time-consuming and frustrating task. Fortunately, the UFSis now part of the Intembeko ORCiD Hub!

This Hub is a platform that assists research organisations, such as UFS, to authoritatively assert its relationship with you as an affiliate researcher of the UFS. It creates a seamless way for us to help you update your affiliation, funding and peer review information, research works, and more.

To participate in this Hub, you simply need to give the UFS permission to connect to your ORCiD record. This can be done directly via the Hub when you log in with your UFS credentials and click the button “Give Your Organisation Permission To Access Your ORCiD Record”, or via an email you will receive from the UFS.

The Library and Information Services, working in consultation with the Directorate: Research Development, the Centre for Graduate Support and faculty, is here to help you build your online academic identity and ORCiD is one of the most required identifiers in the research community. Let us help you keep your ORCiD up to date!
