Your article has been published - what now? How do you get more readers? How do you reach the right readers? How do you get it to influence policy? How do you get the public to understand it?

Scientific communication is the process of distilling technical information about science-related topics into understandable messages and stories for public consumption.

The UFS provides support for researchers for scientific communication. This guide will give you tips on writing for the public in various formats and different platforms, and give you tools to achieve this. Our Marketing and Communication division also supports scientific communication and provides writers that can help you share your research.

Stories are shared within the UFS community and with the international media where appropriate.
