TAKE NOTE OF!
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
With the implementation of our new Library Management System, ALMA, all previously accumulated overdue fines will be waived. This includes only fines but not replacement of lost books. We encourage all library users to return or renew all overdue books, from 20 September to 31 October 2024.
Just so you know, you may receive notifications from the previous Library Management System. Please get in touch with us at: sasollib@ufs.ac.za; tklib@ufs.ac.za.
We appreciate your cooperation during this transition.
Thank you for your continued support.
The National Library of South Africa (NLSA) is the official ISBN agency for South Africa, and you can request an ISBN number directly from them. To apply for an ISBN number, you must be a South African author or publisher. The application process is straight forward. The FORM can be completed online. Once your application has been processed, you will be assigned an ISBN free of charge.
Welcome to the Library LibGuide for the Faculty of Education. This LibGuide is a user friendly subject specific tool where you can find the Library services, books and databases for Education in one place.
The UFS LIS offer students of the faculty opportunities to learn more about how to identify information resources to meet your teaching, learning and research needs. This is important to ensure that upon graduation you are equipped with all the attributes to become a lifelong learner.
