PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

With the implementation of our new Library Management System, ALMA, all previously accumulated overdue fines will be waived.  This includes only fines but not replacement of lost books. We encourage all library users to return or renew all overdue books, from 20 September to 31 October 2024.

The National Library of South Africa (NLSA) is the official ISBN agency for South Africa, and you can request an ISBN number directly from them.  To apply for an ISBN number, you must be a South African author or publisher. The application process is straight forward.  The FORM can be completed online. Once your application has been processed, you will be assigned an ISBN free of charge.
