What is Elicit?

Elicit is a tool to explore academic literature. It is a research assistant that automates the literature review by finding relevant papers, extracting key information about the studies, and organising it into concepts. Elicit searches and discovers concepts across papers, allowing researchers to ask their research question and get a list of answers from the academic literature.

Is it free?

You receive 5 000 free credits after which you need to purchase more credits.

Is it user-friendly?

It is very user-friendly and easy to access using a Google account or creating a new login. Results are easy to download as BibTex or CSV.

How can Elicit be used in the UFS context?

Elicit finds papers based on your questions, and it can also extract data from PDFs (there is an option to create your own library of papers), and create a list of concepts. It can be used for finding literature and any type of review, for example literature or systematic reviews.
