AI-assisted Technology in Education

What is Iris?

Iris helps you discover scientific literature and automatically extract data from documents. It provides a research workspace where you can upload any collection of research documents and use Iris's smart tools for your research process.

Is it free?

Basic functionalities are free, then there is an academic license and a research institution license. To create a free account you have to sign up for a waiting list. Demos are available.

Is it user-friendly?

Iris has many webinars and resources to help you learn how to use this AI tool.

How can Iris be used in the UFS context?

Iris helps you speed up your literature review with five modules: explore, analyse, filter, summarise and extract. Context filtering can be done with an explanatory sentence rather than just keywords, and key data points are automatically extracted from text and tables into a table of your own design. Summaries are made of single or multiple documents to get a quick overview.
